Bao Haus

We liked this small casita very much due to its having a king size bed, due to the brightness of the rooms, due to very good lighting everywhere, due to the layout. We liked that it is located very close to our son's home. We liked that it was quiet. We liked having the kitchen, etc.
The one thing to deal with in Nashville is getting used to the very heavy use of chlorine in the water. You can smell the chlorine when taking showers and for us the water is impossible to drink. We actually brought along our own sweet water from our farm where we have a natural spring. Otherwise we would have purchased bottled water.
The next time we visit Nashville, we will try to stay here.

Simply put, this is a great place to stay in East Nashville. It's roomy, quiet, and comfortable with a lot of thoughtful touches. The designated parking pad and the washer & dryer were a big plus for my week's stay. Sarah is a super communicative and helpful host.

Sarah’s place is very peaceful and I enjoyed my 3 day stay there. I like the area a lot and the couch and TV were super comfy. Also I liked the bed (but they need to add a curtain as the light comes through the blinds and would wake me up).
There were a few hiccups, such as the cleaning was not done well but Sarah resolved it for me. (I think the cleaning fee of $200 is more than double what it should be, the place is small and simple to clean!). Note that the parking area is very difficult to get into - it’s also pretty narrow. I would not have been able to get into it without a backup camera.

Sarah’s place was so perfect for me! After my first week staying there, I rebooked it for an additional two weeks. The space was so tranquil and comforting to me especially as I was going through a life transition & waiting to move back into my own home. I really enjoyed taking walks in the neighborhood.
The hosts of the property were so kind, supportive, and friendly. I am so appreciative of them for having this beautiful space that I could stay in for 3 weeks.
You won’t regret booking this stay whether you are a local looking for an escape from your every day life or traveling in from out of town. It’s a perfect location in Nashville that’s close to everything you could want or need. 10/10 would recommend.

Staying at Sarah’s space was the perfect escape from my reality. The home is beautifully decorated, peaceful, calm, and private.
The hosts were extremely responsive, helpful, kind, and friendly.
I enjoyed staying here so much that I ended up rebooking another stay.

Sarah was very responsive and a great host. I would highly recommend this place if you are on a work trip and need a place to come and totally unwind and relax. Very nice space, tall ceiling, AC works great. Comfy bed. Overall, great stay.

We loved our stay! My husband and I were looking to stay in East Nashville neighborhood for our weekend of house hunting before moving, and Sarah's place was perfect! The neighborhood is quiet and very close to many Nashville staples. The space is huge, very well kept, and super clean. Hosts are super responsive and helpful (we didn't have any issues but ahead of check-in, recommendations, etc). One thing — not at all an issue, but the cottage is a refurbished structure in the back of the front house's lot. You have a separate driveway, your own entrance, etc, and is super nice! Just something I was a little surprised about upon arrival, but not an issue at all! Would definitely recommend for any couple looking for a Nashville weekend and not wanting to be in the middle of crazy downtown!

Sarah’s place was perfect. Located in the heart of East Nashville. Close to everything - restaurants, cafes, downtown, etc. - but nevertheless private, quiet, and peaceful at the same time. The house itself is so thoughtfully renovated. Very clean, comfortable, and convenient. Thank you SO much for hosting. I will be back for sure. Cheers.

Loved our stay here. Roomy, immaculate, well appointed, nice touches, quiet. Responsive hosts. Would stay again in a heartbeat. We were looking for a quiet, residential neighborhood. This fit the bill.

I loved my stay here! The space is absolutely beautiful, down to the smallest details (the flatware, mugs, bedding) - I felt right at home. The hosts are so quick to respond, and I would absolutely stay here again! The location and the neighborhood are amazing, too.

We stayed at Bao Haus for 9 nights with our dog while visiting our grandsons in East Nashville. The unit is absolutely beautiful and the kitchen/family room was actually larger than we thought from the pictures. It was a great set up for our dog to go potty. We felt super safe walking in the neighborhood and enjoyed all the places we could walk to including: Jeni’s, Rosepepper, Sushi, Eastwood Deli (breakfast & lunch served), Five Daughter’s Bakery, 2 coffee shops, Graze, and Publix. Bao Haus was a lovely retreat for our time in Nashville! We would love to stay here again!
